Bus leaves at 10AM and returns at 12PM. Culinary will keep kitchen open for residents going to have their lunch.
At Coffee & Companions, adults ages 55+ can come together to enjoy animal interaction, friendship, and activities that support the dogs, cats, and critters in our care at Animal Humane Society’s Golden Valley adoption center. Meet fellow animal lovers, tour our adoption floor, spend time with animals, and learn a bit about AHS and the ways we stay involved in our community!
Activities may include:
Holding, petting, and playing with animals
Writing up personality descriptions of the animals waiting for adoption
Reading to animals
Dog walking
Creating animal enrichment
